Got the Clint Eastwood 20 Film Collection for an amazing price and had to get it! A lot of great ones, but because of the studios BS there's a lot of great ones missing. Still a fantastic box set though!

I don't really buy movies anymore, but I felt compelled after seeing these five at such a low price:

"The Sweet Hereafter" (1997)
"The New World" (2005)
"Time of the Wolf" (2003
"Babel" (2006)
The House of the Devil" (2009)

You can't make a rainbow without a little rain.
Donnie Darko - The Director's Cut (Two-Disc Edition)

I saw the movie recently, and I liked it, and I want to see the director's cut, as well as the 2nd disc with all the extras.

That, and I found it at garage sale for 50 cents, and I couldn't turn it down.

That's okay. Nobody's perfect!

Well, because it's the 75th Anniversary edition.
(It's such a tear-jerker that it comes complete with a commemorative hanky -- "Never, at any crisis in your life, have I known you to have a handkerchief."- Rhett Butler)

and to help complete my Fassbinder collection:

Ali: Fear Eats the Soul ((1974) Werner Fassbinder

The Day After Tomorrow
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

I only buy things that I like a lot, and both of them were back in the days favorites.

Bright light. Bright light. Uh oh.
Although I have versions of the last three on DVD, I took advantage of the current Criterion Flash Sale to buy these for $57.

Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion
The Innocents
Macbeth
(Polanski)
The Red Balloon

I was tempted to get the Kaurismaki set of Ariel, Shadows in Paradise and The Match Factory Girl for $23.
