Daily Affirmation
Stuart Smalley (Al Franken) brings Barkley and Muggsy Bogues together.

Air Date: September 25th, 1993
Host: Charles Barkley

The best were easily the 70's, through the 80's. I have the best of 75 - the 90's. They are my VHS though, from way back. I am now collecting the entire seasons.

Female assassin extraordinaire.
y'all will probably hate me, but i preferred In Living Color. Probably cuz the cast was mostly black. what, i was looking for representation of my socioeconomic background in the screen as a child, ok? hhahahah.... anyway, i digress.

there was ONE scene i remember clearly that made me die and fall on the floor laughing.

some episode where eddie murphy was in jail reading a poem in the dark, in a weird sort of militant setup and he was all black pantherish.

he was talking about how he wanted to kill his landlord.

at the end, he spells it:

C - I - L - L my landlord

all that black attitude, the poetry, how he's so fearsome and then can't spell, it's so wrong but sooo right ....

Tyger, Tyger, Burning Bright
aww hell.. too many good ones.. I'll just try to add a few I don't think I saw listed yet;

Eddie Murphy in Mr. Robinson's neighborhood (especially the cabbage head dolls)

almost any of the older weekend updates ("Jane, you ignorant slut")

Chevy Chase ( I think) as Gerald Ford, falling off the step ladder for the Christmas in the White House skit

"knock knock.. who's there? landshark!"

and like everyone else here, it could go on, and on, and on...

P.S. I do have to make special mention of the celebrity Jeopardy skits, with whoever that was doing Sean Connery
