The title that you have in your post, Holden Pike ["As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster." ] was a sentence that I used to tell myself when I was in my teen years. When I saw the Godfather movies and Scarface, I sometimes felt like I was some kind of gangster. Must have been because I acted like one. The mob movies sometimes crosses your mind and you started doing what you see in the films. I' am a big mob fan.

*we're not talking the Tom Cruise no hoper here but the football mob tele-film directed by Alan Clarke, he of MADE IN BRITAN fame and featuring Gary Oldman in his finest role to date IMHO (his Dreczel - sp? - coming a close second)...
id definetly say Goodfellas. but the Godfather series and Scarface are also good classics

I know what your thinking, did he fire 6 shots or only 5? Well, in all this mess I kind of lost track myself, but seeing that this is a .44 magnum, the most pwerful handgun in the world and could shoot your head clean off, you gotta ask yourself do I feel lucky? Well do ya, punk? - Dirty Harry
Mob films are my favorite of all times, they just don't make enough of them, one that I loved was Valentines day Massacre, and the King of all movies is the Godfather I doubt they will ever make another masterpiece like the Godfather. There are a lot of Italian films made in Italy containing Mafia films, it doesn't look like they bother exporting those films. I love the Sopranos I'm addicted to that.
