Actually, Bubba Nosferatu and Bubba Sasquatch are the two potential followups to Ho-tep, Don Coscarelli just can't decide on which idea to go with.
Nosferatu was left in the credits of Ho-tep, but then he came up with a good working idea for Sasquatch, so it could go either way...but probably not both.

I havnt seen Bubba Ho-Tep yet but i think i prefer the idea of Sasquatch as theres loads of vampire movies, well enough and it would be better for Elvis to go against a more realistic and less used enemy kinda and not a fully formed one from other films
"Elvis set for "Bubba Ho-Tep" sequel
09 October 2004
"Bubba Ho–Tep" (now showing at select cinemas across the UK) is without a doubt one of the year‘s most enjoyable movies and, according to our exclusive chat with director Don Coscarelli, fans of this tale of an aged Elvis battling an Egyptian mummy can expect to see the King of Rock n Roll taking on some more supernatural foes in a follow–up.
We asked him outright if he and leading man Bruce Campbell are set to bring the rumoured "Bubba Nosferatu: Curse of the She Vampires" to the silver screen anytime soon; "My sources say yes. Things are looking quite good. MGM was very happy with the results in the States, the UK‘s looking very solid, there‘s a lot of fan interest in it – and Bruce would love to play some more of the old hound dog! So there‘s a good chance we actually will make that film." However don‘t expect filming to kick off any time soon as Coscarelli has yet to come up with anything other than the title, "There is no story (yet) so we‘re gonna try and cook up something good…hard to say (when), but as soon as we can.""
Basically its a character study of an aged 'Elvis'. The horror element is really a sub plot. It involves a Mummy 'Bubba Ho-Tep', dressed in a cowboy hat and boots sucking souls of the residents at a Rest Home. Elvis and a black JFK (they died him this colour to hide the truth) find this out and attempt to kill the mummy. A lot of the film is about Elvis and his alleged claim to fame. He apparently decided he didnt want to be a super star any more so went to the best Elvis impersonator and they swapped roles. However the 'real' Elvis contract was destroyed so he went on living his life pretending to be himself while the fake was who we saw as the real Elvis. Basically the film is based on an aged man and his life with a mummy. That help? Theres not much to explain, i recommend buying it http://www.playusa.com/playusa.asp?p...1&title=161710
or better still at the cinema if you can find it showing anywhere
