Yeah, add links and unbold those titles. Get Youtube links and change "www.youtube.com" to "m.youtube.com" when you insert the links into the link box (which comes up with you click the earth & chain button in a post). Highlight the songs you wrote and link them using that.

Is there going to be some sort of distinction about what does and doesn't qualify for the tournament? (Possibly won't be needed, I'd assume the voters will vote out the ones they don't feel qualify as metal)

Some of the songs listed already stray pretty far from how I'd describe metal, even with a very generous definition.

Just out of curiosity, I can't commit to doing the votes so I won't make a list (which is why I've missed so many tournaments; it doesn't feel fair to not give votes each round) so I'm not making any demands here.

I would hope so, because Yellowcard and Autopilot off are pop punk... But fork it, I'm in.

Hey, if Garbage can be both grunge rock and electronica, Yellowcard can be metal.

But if called for I'll substitute in other songs.

http://www.metal-archives.com/ This website will help anyone that doesn't know a lot about the genre (I'm talking to you Omni) search it on there and you will find the answer. That website is basically the most reliable metal resource on the internet and has existed for 10+ years. So if you want to know if Yellowcard is metal, use the website, hell even use Wikipedia and you'll get the same result, both will tell you you're incorrect.

Sexy, you're running this show please don't let bands that are clearly not metal be nominated for this tournament, it will make a joke of the whole thing. Just in the same as I will not nominate Crust/D-Beat/Punk/Hardcore/Powerviolence because it's not metal.

You know what? I really don't care. If it's metal to you, that's fine. I'm not gonna argue. If you don't believe the song is true metal, don't vote for it.

Frankly something called "Powerviolence" sounds really cool. Nominate it.

I'm not, but I think arguing musical genres is one of the most impossible things to fight over since there's so much cross-blending.

When did that become popular anyway?
