Favorite Joan Allen Performance

This is an actress who makes every moment she has onscreen count and can make a film watchable merely by her presence. It is mind-blowing to me that this woman has yet to win an Oscar. Picking a favorite performance is not easy, but if I had to pick one, I would have to go with Pleasantville.

I just watched her last night in Face/Off.

She played the troubled wife of John Travolta's character very well, considering it was an action movie.
