Favorite Mob Movie of all time?

I would say that the Godfather movies are the best!I like all of three of them!What is everybody's else's favorite mod movie of all time?
It can be tv shows too if you like there is nothering better then a mod movie!

I would say my favorite mob movie is The Godfather. Also the Bronx tale i would consider to be a mob movie which i liked very much.
I also like The Sopranos for a mob tv show.

Goodfellas is toppin my list but I gotta say that I liked Donnie Brasco too

I'd say my favorite mob movie is Casino. The cast is impeccable. You have our Italian mob favorites, DeNiro and Pesci and those other character actors that always show up in mob movies. Then you have Sharon Stone as the perfect turncoat prostitute druggie wife. It's Vegas at it's best. Then again, maybe Scarface is tied with it. However, I love Carlito's Way too. I mean, to sum up modern mobster movies just takes the three names mentioned about. DeNiro, Pacino and Pesci.

Im not saying its the best mob movie, but what about Carlitos Way? No one has even mentioned it, and I would put it against Scarface or Donnie Brasco.

The Public Enemy (1931) with James Cagney is probably my favorite ganster movie. But, The Godfather cured me of wanting to see any mob movies. I can't take the violence.


I do like the spoofs and tongue in cheek movies about them, like Johnny Stecchino (1991).



Roberto Benigni is such a stitch playing the duel roles of the naive bus driver and ruthless mob king pin.

While The Godfather is a damn good film(s), I cast my lot with Goodfellas. Gritty, realistic ganster film. Great cast and exceptional dialog.

Godfather was great I think, but personally, I enjoyed the sequel Godfather 2 better.

To me it had more of a draw to it and the scenery that Francis Ford Coppola caputers is quite amazing.

The first Godfather seemed to introduce the charactors and then bring on the plot line, with the sequel, you already understood these charactors, see them develope as well as delevering a great story.

I also enjoyed Goodfellas which I would rank right up there as best Mob movies.
