Help with a song..

Ok now i am goin nuts over here and have been for like the last 2 days cause i can't think of the band or name of the song and now i can only remember like 1 part of the song and im not even sure if i am remembering it right but it goes something like......."The streets of this town are my only friends"...or sonething along thoes lines. its some what of an older song i belive. Now i know that doesnt help much but if anything comes to mind, ANYTHING at all plz help me out!
