Wow. Well. Yeah. Ok.... I liked it.
Nothing compares to season 1 which had the best of everything. S2 wasn't even a mystery, more like a tough crime drama. S3 tried to be like S1. No chance, but It had its moments. S4 was a murder mystery and a ghost story. Like S2 where it was its own story.
If we look at all of these stories and judge them only onto themselves, I'd think people would be less critical. It's a good show and as proof of it we all are gonna watch season 5. What? You want standalone seasons that maintain a singular theme? Then you want American Horror Story. I only saw one season of that. True Detective doesn't play it safe. Flawed but fresh.
