Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi

I'd heard that they have completed photography on episode VIII as Adam says. The problem going forward will be what to do about episode IX, I guess the options are

1) Paul Walker CGI route, probably briefly though and kill off her character.
2) Joker route, Princess Leia simply does not feature in the story for Episode IX.
3) Re-cast, probably the most likely, given that Leia/Kylo Ren probably has some sort of resolution.
4) They have already killed her off in Episode 8 or will change the episode to do that.

I hope that they go with 3 but could understand whatever they decide to do.

other than a flashback/dream certainly not Id say.

They should just have the First Order Blow Up The Planet She is On Like An Alderaan but its a new weapon in episode 9 but is not a Death Star but a very large Ship thats has a Kyber Crystal Weapon.

Maybe "Jedi" in the title means Jedi as a whole. As in Return Of The Jedi didn't mean return of Luke...it meant the plural Jedi had returned.
Like, people say "the Jedi", not "the Jedis".


Failing that, the entire movie will be about Luke. Technically he's the last again after his attempt at rebuilding the Jedi Order failed.

I've been figuring The Last Jedi could be a misdirect of sorts. We're suppose to think it just means Luke. When "Jedi" could actually be plural and it refers to Luke and Rey. Or it could just refer to Rey.

There could also be other Jedi included in this as well...

R2D2 is returning with Jimmy Vee replacing the late Kenny Baker to play the character. Vee and Baker shared the role in The Force Awakens yet Baker got the credit. Vee credits Baker for helping him hone the abilities to be able to carry on the role.
