I see your point Might give the latest one a chance as i love Monica Bellucci.

*^^ that actually sounds like a brilliant idea.hope they follow through on that.

I like how Omni quotes parts of sentences
I'd quote your whole sentences if you didn't load them with nonsense.

YOU KNOW, I don't recall taking a shot below the belt at you for what you like, Rodent, I'm not looking at those Arnold Schwarzenegger movies in your favorites and writing them off as "Oh, Rodent and his Junior characters...", so you know what? Why don't you keep your feet to yourself and quit the kick-to-the-shins knee-jerk reaction mentality because it isn't doing you any favors.

Apologies if this topic has been done before.

I was reading an old article about the wonderful “Luther” actor Idris Elba being touted to replace Daniel Craig in upcoming James Bond movies when Craig leaves the role.

Admittedly, I at first thought this would be a mistake, and just pure tokenism. James Bond the character is a white man and I don’t get the need to change such a basic physical feature. The more I think about it though, the more I think somebody like Elba would bring something good to the role.

What do you think
Idris Elba is very good but possibly a bit old. I think if a black actor walks into the auditions and has the right quality for Bond I think they should do it. Colin Salmon was mentioned frequently in the Nineties in connection with the part and I can understand why, but I never thought he was exactly right for it. I believe at one point they thought of doing Casino Royale as a period piece, in the Fifties, and so a black actor would have been impossible for that, but as a contemporary story I think it's feasible.

Naomie Harris as Moneypenny was interesting in that, like Benedict Cumberbatch's Khan, the ethnicity of the role was changed to preserve the 'big reveal'. Whether that's ethical, if you like, I'm not absolutely sure, but it does put me on my guard and is an example of why people consider these things stunt casting or tokenism. I don't like Harris as Moneypenny but her ethnicity isn't a factor in that.

Here's an idea then, don't post stupid pictures in relation to my posts when I say something that is personal to myself then and I'll stop calling Anime Pokémon.
In fact, try not doing it with other people as well. It's becoming a trend recently to point fingers and accusations, and laugh ignorantly, when someone says anything they genuinely mean and it's usually the same 4 or 5 people that do it.

I think a tangled mess of Christmas lights is a pretty good visual metaphor for dealing with things one "knot" at a time. Why you would take offense to that is beyond me.

Ill delete it if yall are offended, it was a joke.

We've gone on holiday by mistake
There was a debate a while back in the UK that the next James Bond should be played by Idris Elba, a black man. Personally I think this would be "forced diversity" and would detract attention away from the actual film. I like Elba, quality actor and a real presence but would be weird having a black bond.

What would people think of a Black Bond? What would be next? MLK biopic played by a white man? Heck why not a white woman?
