Mads is a confirmed GOAT

What's a GOAT? Something horny, no doubt.

He had 6 projects going including a music tour. Someone at 4chan started a rumour he got booted off based on his 'falling out' on Boardwalk empire - the showrunner said that was incorrect, and Michael was very popular with cast and crew on Hannibal - I got that direct from one of the producers. Just came down to scheduling conflicts.

Jo Anderson who replaced him was really good as well.
Yeah Jo did well. I was just suprised to see Pitt replaced after a season. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Anyone else seen Hannibal crack video? It's a bit silly, but it cracks me up.

You're like the guy in saving private ryan asking what fubar means.

I was sad to see him go but yeah, Joe made it his own role. I don't like recastings but he worked it.

What I was told was that Michael is pretty private off set so didn't mingle a great deal, but he also flew his rescue dog over so spent his free time with the pooch. Seems like a really nice guy. Bryan Fuller is a dog nut (general animal nut) and he was pretty big on cast and crew bringing their pets. He's also very very big on choosing cast and crew who come together as a family, so I don't think he would have chosen someone who had previously caused trouble for a showrunner. I really loathe that kind of sour grapes gossip. I think it was started by someone on the shoot who just had it in for him (boardwalk empire gossip) then peopl jumped to conclusions when he left Hannibal. if it doesn't come from a showrunner, director etc, I don't believe any of it, and then the producer confirmed what I thought.

i know what that one means. Toejam I keep forgetting.

This might just do nobody any good.
Just saw him again in "The Salvation" I believe it's called? Solid movie. I had a hard time with "The Hunt", but he was incredible.
Caught that on tv some time back. It's okay. Jeffrey Dean Morgan's been auditioning for Neegan his whole career, apparently.

Made me think Eva would be a good Jill McBain in a remake of Once Upon a Time in the West (THAT SHOULD NOT HAPPEN).

Legend in my own mind
Decent enough actor.

Bit hit and miss for me.

Hannibal was the best thing I have seen him in so far.

Sacrilege!

What else have you seen him in Sarge? I havent seen a bad act from the guy. Even in Coco and Igor where the two leads are utterly loathsome I thought he was brilliant.

I always have a hard time with The Hunt, even on a rewatch recently which is probably the 5th or 6th time. Very distressing theme.

The Salvation was great.

5th or 6th time? Dani, just print out a picture of him and tape it to the headboard for pete sake!

I caught Rogue One again a few days ago too. I still like it a lot and Mads stood out. That movie owes so much of its pathos to the actors since the characterizations are pretty thin.

I need to see Rogue One still. I hear good things. I really need a good sound system, though. It's been a missing ingredient in my meager set up. Blu ray should have a fat, tube driven amp to really thrash along with HD.

As I say, generally very good. Hannibal was great.

Struggled with him in 'Casino Royale'. Was just a bit cliche for me but to be fair the Bond films are one giant cliche.

King Arthur was just a bad film, so it wasn't just him.

Exit was again bad all round.

LOL I dont watch it for his looks, silly duffer. I've got an autographed promo shot from Hannibal if I want to perv t him in his peacock suit. It's just down the hall. I keep watching this movie because
1. I cant tolerate kangaroo courts
and
2. each rewatch is like sticking your thumb on a bruise to reawaken the pain to make it go away faster. Know what I mean?

I'd love to see a making of to see how the director got the little girl so quiet and sombre. She was great.

King Arthur I've been told is terrible so havent bothered. Exit I dont know. Pusher 1 and 2 you would probably like. He based the character on himself when he was younger growing up in a rough part of Copenhagen. Clash of the Titans is woeful but he was outstanding.
And if you like war genre you have to see Flame and Citron. Amazing movie.
