So after just 38 days, Your Name has already made history and earned a very high place in the Japanese box office. It's the highest non-Miyazaki Japanese animation in box office gross already.
I wonder how far it can rank, possibly beating Spirited Away for 1st place ever in admissions at this rate. I though a movie like Seven Samurai was the 1st ever in admissions because in the 1950's Japanese ticket sales were much higher than today but apparently they were spread out through many different movies.
