How Can I Get Cast Into One of MNS' movies?

Hi Folks:

Yes, practice, skill, luck, and a good agent are good ways. What does MNS and staff look for in their actors? I would love to get a small speaking part in one of his movies.

Can't be that hard, I imagine. It probably helps to be in the NY or PA area, where most of his films are shot. Once there, you just have to read the trades, go to auditions, and get into the scene. Sooner or later, an M. Night project will come around and if you're in the right circles you'll hear about it. Then you murder an audition and you're in.

You also should be making vids and getting them up on You Tube. Act in shorts - whatever you can get into. The more you up your exposure the more likely someone will be open to you.

Don't wait for someone to find you. Get out there and do stuff. Remember, luck is opportunity meets preparation. So get ready. Your chance could be any day now.
