Is Omni's Action HoF considered official?

That's been the centre of some debate.

I think sci fi is a solid idea. It's never been done, lots of people like sci fi and sci fi crosses over from old movies to new, from sci fi/horror to anime. Sci fi is big.

I might participate in a sci-fi, horror, or foreign countdown. But I find it difficult enough to make a Top 10 (the "favourites" on my profile are literally just the first movies I like that came to mind, not what I actually think are the best ones), so in all honesty I'll probably just sit and watch from the sidelines no matter what the countdown is.

So don't count my opinion for anything haha.

Foreign, Sci-Fi and Comedy and Westerns all deserve to have an Official Countdown. I'm pretty sure all those would be popular. But which one next?

Plenty of time is usually given by the host to watch films from this genre, decade, whatever, to come up with a list. And partial lists of at least ten are usually taken if you don't end up coming up with the full 25.

Any but western (everybody decides to do western).
