Can you tell by the ringtones? I don't recall if they show you his ringtone some other time in the movie.....

ok i just watched it right now, it is him in the body bag. The ringtone starts ringing and like 3 seconds later he takes out his phone to see who is calling and then he sees that it is not his phone but the phone in the body bag.

That right there shows that he went back in time more than once, but we only saw the last time he went back in time

My head hurts.

I've seen the movie probably 10 times and still have questions. I did learn that the person in the bag had to be his partner since he had to strip and leave everything behind before going back. Remember?? So no phone or gun, besides he was delivered to the hospital for reviving. Val Kilmer said they had been trying to reach him and that everyone was called in. Just my thoughts......Gotta take some excedrin now. Happens everytime I get thinking of the scenarios.
