Mostly people are liking it, the one sole detractor was me. I didn't care for that one.
What was it that turned you off? Specific things or the movie in general?
The themes of the movie in general were to my liking, I found that interesting. So no, not a moral objection to it. And I was really interested in the second act, but the first and third acts lost it for me.
So my complaints was: production values, believably of characters actions, acting (though Peter Boyle was good).
I agree with you on the B-quality production, btw. Although, it sort of gives it a grittier feel, which I think it needs. Sometime B-movies may be your favorites. Just think of The Evil Dead.
I'd like to hear/read what you like and don't like about these films, rather than just what happens. I can get that anywhere, but only you can tell me what you think of it.

Most reviews give you a rundown of what happens. Sometimes, you can't really explain exactly what you like about a film, well in so many words that is. I added my personal thoughts to my review.
Wow, tough question as he made a lot of them, mostly as the producer. Of the ones I seen my favorites are
Death Race 2000 (1975)
X: The Man with the X-Ray Eyes (1963)
This is one of his more prestigious movies, it stars Ray Milland.
Attack of the Crab Monsters (1957) Cheaply made like most of his movies, but some really wild ideas that makes killer giant crabs, interesting!
The St. Valentine's Day Massacre (1967) Another of his more prestigious films with well known actors.

I always wanted to see The Man with the X-Ray Eyes. It looks promising and the plot looks intriguing. I saw the Crab movie awhile ago, but didn't like it.
Nope, but it sounds like a fun action flick. The only similar movie I've seen by Charles Bronson was The Mechanic (1972) and I seen that in the 70s when I was a kid. Though it was pretty cool at the time.

The Mechanic is good too--I probably like it even better Mr. Majestyk. The story's a little better...more creative.
