Kylo Ren's slashing up of computer equipment reminded me of Bad Cop's chair-throwing in The Lego Movie.

I'm not too familiar with John Cusack, other than Grosse Pointe Blank and Con Air.
Grosse Pointe Blank made me a fan, maybe because he was centre stage. I'd seen Con Air and also The Grifters but never really bought into him.

Its not my favourite movie.however i would recast michelle williams in my last days with marilyn with Britney Spears- first of all they looked SO much alike, both face and figure, they both also had that naive little girl lost attitude, aswell as a natural sex appeal.there was no overly dramatic scenes either that britney with her limited acting experience couldnt have pulled off. it would have to have been a few years earlier though.
i like michelle williams but she was a horrid choice.

I like the sound of some of these. I'm not that familiar with Joel Edgerton, only from The Thing, but he's good. Rose Byrne seems a bit bland and not feisty enough for Marion. Mathieu Amalric's good but I could just as easily see him as Toht actually and Harris as Belloq.

You like my castings for The Nice Guys?
No frame of reference. Some good actors there though.

I admit Byrne is kind of unimaginative but I think she could pull it off. She's a good enough actress. (and I think she sort of looks like Karen Allen, so there's that.)

Mathieu Amalric's good but I could just as easily see him as Toht actually and Harris as Belloq.
I did think of Harris as Belloq but for some reason I felt like casting a French actor in the role. I guess that means I should have gone with a German actor as Toht but whatever.

Seemed to me the story was very L.A./American centric. The air pollution, the 70s counter establishment protests, etc.

It's a good cast but the switch up seems unnecessary.

You see the one for 1990 with Harrison Ford as Healy?

X-Men (1983)

Charles Xavier/Professor X: Richard Attenborough

Logan/Wolverine: Liam Neeson

Erik Lensherr/Magneto: Christopher Lee

Scott Summers/Cyclops: Michael Biehn

Jean Grey: Rene Russo

Ororo Munroe/Storm: Angela Bassett

Toad: Jean-Claude Van Damme

Victor Creed/Sabretooth: Sven-ole Thorsen

Marie/Rogue: Diane Lane

Bobby Drake/Iceman: Rob Lowe

John Allerdyce/Pyro: Charlie Sheen

Senator Robert Kelly: Robert Vaughn

I don't know who to cast for Mystique.

These all sound good – I'm not sure about their ages in comparison to the actors in the real film. I think Michael Biehn as Cyclops is the best idea and I also quite like Diane Lane for Rogue. Christopher Lee feels right for Magneto as well – apparently Bryan Singer considered Terence Stamp which I really like the idea of.

Only change would be an older actor for young Charles, perhaps Timothy Dalton?

If I had a steak, I would f**k it!
The Graduate:
