Help with movie title

hey there im new here and i need help with a movie title.

Its a movie from the 90's probably mid. Its about a group of teens that hang out at a convienence store drinking and smoking and all that kinda stuff. One of there friends has become famous and has been away on tour and is coming back to visit them and when he arives some of the others feel he has changed and it causes a riff within the group.

Theres really not a heap to the story as way as plot goes but its quite a nice movie and i just hope it joggs somones memory somewhat.
