A movie by decade

Tools

Choose a movie by decade from 20' to 2010.
Aclaration: the year "0" doesn't exist. The count begins in 1 and finish on 10, begins in 11 and finish on 20.

My movies:
1921-1930: The Sheik
1931-1940: The Great Dictator
1941-1950: Citizen Kane
1951-1960: Psycho
1961-1970: Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo
1971-1980: The Goodfather II
1981-1990: Rocky IV
1991-2000: The Shawshank Redemption
2001-2010: Batman Begins

Good choices Darabont, I've seen some of those films.

So do I also post my movies by decade?
I don't find it. Pass me the link if you want.

You started, oh so great, with Passion and M, then went downhill, but still cool with Life, Samurai and Velvet, but The Avengers at the end killed me. ;(

Look, I'm not judging you - after all, I'm posting here myself, but maybe, just maybe, if you spent less time here and more time watching films, maybe, and I stress, maybe your taste would be of some value. Just a thought, ya know.

1930's: Gone with the Wind

1940's: Casablanca

1950's: All About Eve

2000's: Brokeback Mountain

All fine choices Gideon....I haven't seen Brokenback Mountain.

Broadway Melody...that is a fine choice! I forgot about it and I've seen it twice too. A very emotionally involving story. Anita Page is as cute as a button and forlorn, like a lost puppy. I don't know why she didn't have a bigger carrier. Bessie Love as the younger, wilder sister was pretty good too. I like that film quite a bit.

Well, the decade isn't even half over yet. If The Avengers is still his best film of the decade by 2020 then you can start worrying. That said, I also love The Avengers.
