I don't think SC would participate in a foreign countdown. I could be wrong though.

Too many foreign films.

I found a good top 100 animated films list. It has a good mixture of popular films and more obscure films.

Re: animated films. A good list, but why not do our own? I think we'd find it pretty easy to get a lot of participation in that one. Maybe after the 70s list?

We could, but I'm afraid not a lot of obscure films will make the list and it will be flooded with Pixar and Dreamworks. This list seems to have it all, it has what I know are some of our members favorite animated films. And it has some Harryhausen, which the list section needs.

But, if you think we should do our own list, that's fine.

Not married to either idea--would like to hear more opinions on it, for sure.

I'd be interested, but really, what's the point? The foreign movies already ruined the decade countdowns. They've already been represented.

I'd be hard pressed to get an animated list together... mine would be all Pixar and very early Disney. Maybe one or two DreamWorks.

How about a list of the most anticipated box office blockbusters that flopped at the cinema?

I know I've mentioned this before, but documentaries. I need a reason to see more. I'd also be on board for animation, I'd lean towards 100 combining features and shorts.

This might be my vote for post of the year.
