Cool Beans. I live just south of Seattle but I work in the city so if'n you would like to shoot me a pm or something we may be able to hook up. Sounds pretty cool.

As far as the standard tourist traps go you can't go wrong with the Seattle Center and of course we are home to the evil empire otherwise known as Starbucks, if that's your thing. The damn things are on every corner.

And there is of course The Cinerama if you would like to see a show in one of the coolest movie theaters around. Not to mention one of the last Cinerama's left on the planet. So yeah, that's just a small taste of this neck of the woods.

You may want to start a thread so you can keep track of all this stuff.

IM ONLY JOKING. Thats not really what i have planned. How funny, i bet you were all really scared and nervous huh?

Im going traveling round planet Earth on the 4th of Feb and thought it would be nice if i can bump into a MOFO or two. And get a bit of advice on what sights i should see and what pies i should eat etc.

Yeah, actually they should cover the medical, time off, etc . . . I remember when I cut my finger at work a long time ago. I've always been the type to bleed a lot, so it filled the whole rag. They wanted me to go for stitches, and all, on them. I laughed it off, because it was just a cut thumb, but they were ready to take care of it. Whichever place she works, should do the same.

TUS if she got burned at WORK ... aren't there Worker's Comp laws and issues to deal with? Surely they would give her a single extra day off....!

Be sure she looks into that stuff. Their equipment, their "fault," so to speak (in terms of liability).At least I think so....When a friend in high school burned her arm in the fry vat (yes, she did what you're picturing, ugh!) at McDonald's, McD's managers were good about getting her to the hospital and giving her time off, etc. etc. (Didn't want to be sued, probably.)
