The Shoutbox
Hello everyone! Went and took my drug test for my job today, everything is moving along very quickly. I don't even have a delivery vehicle yet! LOL!
What are you drinking in that pub?
I'm in the pub..drunk. My review of 'get Hard' will be scathing...to say the least.
Tatty - I quite liked The Man in the High Castle which is an Amazon pilot about an America after WW2 where the Allies lost. America has been carved in half with Germany ruling one side and Japan the other. I thought it showed promise
I hear that is fantastic...
Speaking of exclusives, Netflix's Peaky Blinders is brilliant.
Amazon's back door pilot The Man in the high Castle was awesome - Phil K. Dick!
Yeah, every now and then Amazon has something (particularly TV shows) that I can't get elsewhere, but it's rare. The shipping is the real benefit of Prime, to be sure. That and the fact that you can rent movies on it for a few bucks (and it's easier to stream them from there than the other places where they're available, in my experience).
Yeah, I'll probably give it a blast. When Amazon Prime was Lovefilm over here I had an account with them and Netflix at the same time.

Ran it like that for a few months but found I only watched Netflix regularly.
I think Outlander is Starz.

Anyway, from what I've seen the original content is nothing special--though the process they've used to choose what goes to series, and their unconventional "pilot season" are both super interesting/encouraging.
Thanks, seen it.

I was talking more about the original (not exclusive) content on offer, made by Amazon. Outlander (which is polluting my Amazon homepage as we speak) etc.
