I will give you the benefit of the doubt here and guess that you don't spend time watching TV shows because it cuts into your time watching films, and not because you think TV shows on the whole are bereft of any inherent value as an art form?
I hate how some cinephiles watch TV series and pretend it's just like films. No, they're two separate arts - similar but not the same. There's a tiny overlap, sure, but it's very clear that something like Bold and Beautiful or Prison Break or BoJack Horseman is not a movie. I have nothing against people talking about TV series on a film forum and nothing against film buffs watching TV series. But it rubs me the wrong way when I see somebody making a list of their top 100 films and putting multi-season TV series there. I'm also annoyed that when I say I'm a cinephile, some normies would start talking about TV series they just watched. I'm into cinema, not TV series! I'm a cinephile, not a telephile. You can be both, or either or neither, but this isn't the same thing. Not everything you watch is a film. YouTube videos aren't films either.

(This is just a general rant. I'm not saying anybody's doing that here.)

Don't count on acclimating or powering through. I made it to S3 before finally bailing on it. I don't think there's a middle ground to the show. You're either into it or you just don't get it. Sometimes it takes a while to realize the latter. You're lucky because you realized it early on.
Thank you. This is helpful.

I thought you guys were still talking about Ted Lasso. I assumed the horse face was that blonde actress who owned the team.

It’s either that or their “lighting” and “makeup” crews are the front runners for the Emmy in their category.

Wiig also looks *erh-herm* more attractive than she ever has, this many years after SNL. She always had an “old for my age” look that disappeared in this.

Don’t listen to me. Allison Janney is getting her fair share of looks from my direction. Then again that picture that shows up when you search her name 😳
it’s amazing what money can buy. you can get a whole new skin!

I really think it’s because of Ricky Martin and how unbelievable he looks for his age.
Wait, Ricky Martin is in that? I've watched a handful of episodes and didn't pick up on this.

Must rectify that...
