I could never understand why I was unable to watch Thursday Night NFL games on my Prime app. Frustrating to no end. It's only after I got a Roku box that I could access them. I tried to get Alexa to yell at it in robot but she was zero help.
No parental controls ever stopped me!
Myself, I like the Big Brother TV app, it makes me feel comfy knowing someone is watching over me...

It sounds futuristic. I have certain psychological issues around voice-activated technology, so I barely even talk to my phone (unless it’s to find it). But I suppose eventually I’ll have to adapt as everything is looking like it’ll be voice-controlled in a few years.

Apple is the deevils.
My Apple tv hd device was purchased in July 2018 and is still able to be updated and works perfectly.
Apple tv is a small box that plugs into an existing tv and allows it to function like a smart tv. I have a Samsung tv set, it is not a smart tv or a 4k, but my apple tv box plugs in and allows me to download and use apps.
Samsung for me. I doubt I'll get another one.
