The Shoutbox
Talking of food related excitement, I've got all the Christmas dinner leftovers in my fridge. My mom's a great cook but the kitchen is beginning to smell very strongly of chestnut stuffing...
And yup, all merry in my neck of the woods. I got a pair of down pillows and some killer threads from my alma matar's gift shop, and I was completely caught off guard by the threads. So that was a nice surprise.

You following a DIY guide for that build? If so, I'd be interested in reading it.
I got Lisa a Harry Potter board game that is just too fun! A couple of her girlfriends came over Christmas day, and we played for like 5 hours straight.

Also: lots of food was eaten.
Not bad here. Some nice gifts, but most of the excitement was food related. Jarred cupcakes, weird fudge flavors, homemade cookies, and I discovered that they actually sell crushed up Butterfingers, ostensibly for baking, but it turns out you can just dump it on your ice cream and nobody can stop you.
I had a pretty decent one thanks!

Got this gorgeous Fama recliner chair for the living room from my mom and sister plus various Blu Rays, socks and chocolates. Also got an Amazon voucher which I used to buy a Raspberry Pi Zero kit, which will then be turned into a sick DAC.

Electronic Christmas!
I hope everyone had a most excellent holiday!
I am watching the fifth film of the Universal Horror Collection I received as a gift for Christmas. Mostly 1930s films, I noticed something about it. The actors are all as ho-hum as can be, so very, very dry and emotionless, like they're simply spouting off dialog without any weight or inflection behind it.
Man, this new laptop screams. I was not expecting that and it really is in A grade shape. I was worried it might have a few bangs on it.
Beer and joke don't mix

I started a thread as a joke that came over as sooooo bad in taste.

Apologies.
