I prefer the original, happy ending. Personally, I didn't want him to die and I didn't care for the alternate, darker ending with the plants killing everyone and taking over.

I watched this today. I thought this was a mostly effective and engaging atmospheric thriller/horror. Performances were good and I found the story interesting. 7/10 is my rating.

I don't think it meets the criteria. As I recall, the characters don't sing. There is a great soundtrack, but the characters themselves aren't the ones singing.
