I'm already imagining a perfect future where people will be unburdened from having to even see the movie, and immediately go straight to sitting in a dark and empty room while shoving popcorn from their novelty bucket straight into their face. Maybe sometimes even looking down at their bucket and laughing. In the dark. By themselves. Having a grand old time.


But only if it's a particularly entertaining bucket.

I hope for a future in which people's obsession with existing intellectual properties is studied and analyzed as a fad of a previous era.

It's too bad this trend didn't start much earlier. H.R. Giger could have designed a popcorn bucket for Alien.

They should make a thematically appropriate popcorn bucket for every film. I'd love to see the uncanny valleys this would inevitably lead to.

I think we finally found out what AI image generators are actually for. It's exactly this.

Feels like an HR Geiger Alien popcorn bucket should be shaped like an ovipositor. Maybe even one you can just attach to your face, squeeze, and it'll pump, um, heavily buttered popcorn down your swallow-hole.


I feel like I may have accidentally crossed the line of double-entendre joke into actual low-key literotica there.

I like it. That would be a suitable design for soda cups as well.

Theater chains would appreciate the cost savings of the M. Night Shyamalan popcorn bucket: the popcorn was never there to begin with.
