I heard Warner Bros. is in works of creating a Green Lantern movie. Anyone else hearing anything or is this gonna turn out like the Justice League film that is put on hold i heard.

In the meantime, if you can't wait for that, there will be an animated Green Lantern movie coming out a lot sooner. This summer.

If it's anything like the new Wonder Woman animated movie, it should be friggin awesome.:cool:

I've heard that Christopher Meloni will be doing the voice for that character. That's cool.

It's wierd that he's going to be playing 2 big comic book characters for the 2 big companies now, Deadpool and Hal Jordan.
I've always liked Reynolds in all the rolls he's played anyway though so this should be awesome.

Van Wilder as GL, I'll have to be convinced. I just don't see the ringed wonder as a smart-mouth frat guy.

i wish nathan fillion was going to be the next green lantern.

This choice isn`t perfect, but his appereance fits to the clean Green Lantern Style (which always got something of a daily soap for me).

On the fan made green lantern trailer, does anyone know what movie it is at the end were Nathan Fillion is talking to the black guy, and he says something about "call it whant you whant but that sure sounds like some superhero captain tigthpants bull@#$% to me"????

EDIT: It is. If you look closely, the credits at the bottom are from Superman Returns. :laugh:

I´m really looking forward to see this movie. Normally I don`t give a **** about flying Spandex-heroes. Lantern is the only exception.

I don't know how to feel about this, on the one hand GL is different than most superheroes making the jump to film, but on the other hand, I don't care for Ryan Reynolds.
