I thought for sure the goof with the first one was going to be that the girl was pregnant or something. But nope, you just made me count the people. I don't get it.

If any of those people are TransMoFo, there's actually MORE people there than what you see.

It's about the ability to take a quick glance and estimate the size of a group.
If you counted you're not guessing.

As a game it would work better in person with a 5 second time limit or something, and then you could score if you're closest to the actual number. But I don't know how to do something like that here because it's so simple to cheat and take the time to count.

Ah. The first post just said "people can guess how many are in it" or somesuch. I didn't realize it was supposed to be at a glance.

It's something i've only thought about once or twice. decided to create the thread on a whim.
Seems like a fun challenge though. I edited the OP to be clearer.

What was that number meme again? Less than ten thousand?
