The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas is a tear jerker. Also Mufasa's death in The Lion King is the only time iv'e cried watching a movie.

I can recommend you a good jerker. Not necessarily a tear jerker, though. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

A film that hits me emotionally but equally inspires me is Iron Giant, whereas a film that leaves me feeling depressed is Edward Scissorhands, something about it has always made me feel very empty even though I still love it.
