'Like' or 'Dislike'?
FORUM GAME:
I believe that a major part of a person's " true nature" can be exposed by determining which people he or she looks up to, respects, loves, likes, dislikes or hates. That's why I decided to start this little forum game. I think it's interesting to see which MoFos like/dislike which kind of people. This is kind of what I have in mind (fictional example): Sexy Celebrity: "Joaquin Phoenix?" Miss Vicky: "LIKE! Martin Scorsese?" Gunslinger: "LIKE! Jimmy Carter?" Yoda: "DISLIKE! Drew Barrymore?" Honeykid: "LIKE! Michael Jackson?" etc... You can always refine your opinion a little bit after the obligatory Like/Dislike response (that would actually even make it more interesting). ;) The intention of this thread is that it's exclusively about people. What those people do, doesn't really matter (politicians, famous scientists, writers, actors, singers, TV reporters, etc.), but don't be ridiculous and start asking if someone likes your aunt or something like that. To keep the thread relevant, you have to ask about reasonably well-known people. I'll start with the first name: Stanley Kubrick? |
Re: Like or dislike?
Like
Ingmar Bergman |
Re: Like or dislike?
Like but have much to learn
Lady Gaga |
Re: Like or dislike?
Like. She has certain... "personality flaws", to say the least, but I also think she has a genuinely cool artistic vision sometimes (I like most of her videoclips for example). There are things about her that I'm definitely not a fan of and I usually don't like popstars who're doing "controversial" things to get attention, but I'm going with the positive response anyway, because I can't say that I truly dislike her. :p
Beyoncé? |
Re: Like or dislike?
Dislike
Mark Zuckerberg |
Re: Like or dislike?

J.F. Kennedy? |
Re: Like or dislike?
Like- He was the conservative liberal after all.;)
Barak Obama |
Re: Like or dislike?

Putin |
Re: Like or dislike?
Damn it. Can I have a third option? Like "No opinion?"
Tim Burton? |
Re: Like or dislike?
Dislike (Putin).
EDIT: Tim Burton I like. Winston Churchill? |
Re: Like or dislike?
Dislike! William Randolph Hearst.
An unethical billionaire and newspaper mogul, who was infamous for his yellow journalism and for his black listing of Citizen Kane. If it wasn't for Hearst, Orson might have made more films where he had complete control. |

Strongly dislike.
Hearst invented newspapers to say what he wanted them to say, and not report the actual news. President Bill Clinton? |

Anyway, William Randolph Hearst: DISLIKE! I'm asking about the same person again: Winston Churchill? Is is too late to answer about Churchhill? What about replying to other posters like/dislike queries? I think we will learn more about us all, if this thread is more free-form. As I or others might have a strong opinion about a person mentioned upstream, but if we're only allowed to reply to the last post, the responses could be milqtoast. One of us might like to comment on an older post. So is that possible? |
Re: Like or dislike?
Clinton- dislike too disingenuous
Tom Cruise |
Re: Like or dislike?
Dislike, though not strongly. He can be very good at times, but his cocky attitude often gets in the way.
John Cusack? |
Dislike
Overrated trite crap is a good descriptive of his "acting" Gwyneth Paltrow? |

No opinion. Haven't actually seen any of her movies.
Bruce Campbell? |
