Favorite Woody Allen Film?

Does anyone here like woody allen films? I've seen a bunch of them and hold them all in high esteem!

My favorites are Annie Hall, Sleeper, Zelig  , and Deconstructing Harry!

Anyone else a fan of his work?

He makes  films, occasional :bawling: films, and many depressing / :furious: films. They are all pretty interesting though.

I've only seen a few. I'd probably go with Small Time Crooks. I dunno why. It's just more enjoyable to me than the few others I've seen. I'm not strong in that decision at all, though.

I really enjoyed Sweet and Lowdown. I watched it on a plane flight to Bali and when I got back home, I quickyl searched it down, I had to find it again. It's good a plane from Darwin to Indonesia, on a tiny screen with headphones, it's even better on a TV screen at home, with real nice sound!

Although the only movie I've seen of Allen's is Curse of the Jade Scorpion, I consider it my favorite.

I'll eventually see some of his more popular films...:)

My favorite Woody Allen pics for each decade:

1970s
The Front, Love & Death, Take the Money and Run, Play It Again,Sam

1980s
Crimes and Misdemeanors, Hannah & Her Sisters, The Purple Rose of Cairo

1990s
Bullets Over Broadway and Sweet & Lowdown

The Front he only starred in, and Play It Again,Sam he wrote and starred in but did not direct.

Crimes and Misdemeanors and The Front are definitely my two favorites. Basically everything I didn't list I don't much care for, anywhere from mildly dislike to outright can't stand.

Haven't seen many........guess I'd have to say Deconstructing Harry.

I also loved Mira Sorvino's performance in Mighty Aphrodite.

My favorite is Manhattan, followed very closely by Everyone Says I Love You, and Annie Hall's my third favorite. I also love Radio Days, Deconstructing Harry, Love and Death, Bananas, Crimes & Misdemeanors, Interiors, Hannah and Her Sisters, Sweet & Lowdown, Bullets over Broadway, Stardust Memories (come on, it's a good movie). Yeah. I'm forgetting some too.

Haven't seen much Woody Allen, but I really liked:

What's Up Tiger Lilly?
Bullets over Broadway

Okay, those are the only two I've seen. (Does Casino Royale count? He didn't direct it, but it's good!)

Definately Sleeper (1973) is my favourite Woody.
Recently picked it up in a sale for £6.
I wish the dude would show some enthusiasm and contribute some material towards his movies on DVD...I can`t think of another high profile Director who has shown less committment than Allen.

Take The Money and Run. No contest. The absolute funniest movie I've ever seen.

Annie Hall - Allen was just so innovative an original
