Answered: Special Effects Guy Making a Movie Dressed as Magician

I'm trying to find a movie I watched many years ago. It was about a guy who was making or struggling to make special effects. He was making a short movie where he does stuff dressed as a magician.

At one point, he was going to fake running on wall horizontally. He basically jumps toward the wall and takes images at the moment of hit so all pictures together look like he is running on wall. People around see this and do the same (maybe they think they'll be famous, can't remember) and with so many people jump kicking the wall it finally crumbles.

I also remember at one point he was going to light a fire but no matches. He raises his hand and the hand starts burning and he throws the fire on the fireplace to light it. This could be near a beach.

Any idea which movie is this? I think at the end was the short movie clip he created with a song.
