Great list. I love that you included Albino Alligator and Birthday Girl, both underrated thrillers imo.

And Buffalo '66 is a wonderful film. I really like films about outsiders and oddballs and losers, and it's one of the best.

Boys Don't Cry is also a personal favorite. It haunts me.

Thanks. For me Hillary Swank is as good as they get. As untouchable as Merryl appears, I think Hillary can get there. Ok, back to posting more pics.

One of my favorite films, very dark and twisted and sad, which I'll mention here is Monster.

If you haven't allready, see the two documentaries on the real Aileen Woodros. You'll find them in my post on favorite documentaries.

Loved To Die For, Long Kiss Goodnight, Perfect Getaway, and Last Seduction.

Been meaning to watch In The Electric Mist. I have it in my queue, so I think I'll watch it very soon now that I'm reminded!

I actually saw the original doc first, and then the movie, about Wuornos. I'm a bit obsessed with her, actually. :D

Pacific Heights has Michael Keaton as the bad guy, right? I've wanted to see that movie for a while, as a Keaton fan.

There is another documentary on her, done about ten years later. Which documenary did you see?

If you love the Last Seduction you will love One False Move.
In the Electric Mist is made from the original James Lee Burke nove ( one of my favorite writers - have all his books ). Tommy Lee is good as David Robechou but that character came more to life in Alec Balwin's portrayal in Heaven's Prisoners ( written by the same author ).
