Disch), The Golem (Gustav Meyrink), Great Work of Time (John Crowley), Valis (Philip K. Dick).

    Any of those should do. Definitely read The Manuscript Found in Saragossa, though. That book should be much more famous.

    Yup!

    It's actually pretty great and I came in with it with low expectations, but it turned out to be awesome and highly addictive, so proceed with caution.
