    Yes mate, decent film. I'd rate it in the mid 80s tbh, not his best work but certainly watchable.
    I've not reviewed it yet... I've seen all of Verhoeven's movies though, he's my fave Director.

    Nope, I've mainly seen all of Altman's most acclaimed work with a few of the obscurities thrown in: M*A*S*H, McCabe & Mrs. Miller, Images, The Long Goodbye, Thieves Like Us, Nashville, 3 Women, The Player, Short Cuts, and Gosford Park. Have you seen The Long Goodbye or The Player? I think you might like them.

    I figured. Hard to ignore Chaplin. I had read a thread earlier where someone totally trashed The Great Dictator as example of Charlie Chaplin not being funny. Then went on to say that he usually isn't funny, and I was taken aback.

Overall it's a great war film- which shows the true horrors at a level I haven't witnessed since Come and See
